Travis & Taylor Could Use Wedding Morning Yoga!
Happy Fall all! It’s been a few months since my last blog post, and I wanted to come on here in a bit of a different way today.
Where pop culture and yoga meet: As were most of us, I was excited to hear the announcement from Taylor Swift that her and Travis Kelce are engaged. In case you’ve been living under a rock, the engagement was announced on Taylor’s Instagram account a few weeks ago with a post captioned: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married”.
Now, it may surprise some of you, but I am a big Taylor Swift fan. As it turns out, I listened to her music so much last year (mostly at the gym and in the car) that she was my Number 1 Artist on Spotify’s year end listening recap. And in case you’re wondering, yoga and pop music are not mutually exclusive!
In fact, some yoga teachers design high-energy classes using pop music playlists. I am not one of those teachers, however I am excited by the rumors spreading on the internet that Taylor and Travis might get married here in Asheville, North Carolina!
So Travis’ Mom, Donna Kelce, visited the Biltmore Estate here in South Asheville just days before the engagement announcement. She posted about it on Facebook (see below) leading many on the internet to speculate that Donna was scoping out a wedding venue for her son and his fiancé.

I’m not one to believe rumors, but in this case I think there’s a good chance this one is true. In fact, North Carolina Governor Josh Stein even reposted Donna’s post, adding “Western NC is open for business (and a wonderful place for a wedding)!”
Which brings me to his blog’s title. If Taylor and Travis did get married in Asheville, I wonder if they would be interested in Wedding Morning yoga with me?? I’ve taught a lot of successful wedding morning yoga classes here in Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina, and I would be honored to add Taylor’s wedding to my list of clients!
